Muscle Building Diet For Vegetarians

Many people asks me about what to eat for muscle building specially in vegetarian. Now this is very big question for which everybody wants answer. Today i will answer about this question straight & forward in a very simple way.

So if you are building muscle being vegetarian than i would definitely suggest that you at least consume 5 to 6 meals a day. Building muscle means getting good quality & quantity of protein, carbohydrates, fats, fibers, calories.

MEAL ONE( BREAKFAST)

 

- A cup of Corn flakes with some dry fruits. (Put 1 full spoon of whey protein if you are using it)

- Banana (Eat as much as you feel comfortable in)

- Peanut butter with brown bread

- Protein shake (If your using any otherwise you can make your own protein shake)

 

HOME MADE PROTEIN SHAKE RECIPE

 

- Take a cup of milk.

- Put 5 to 10 almonds in it

- Put 1 or 2 banana

- Small spoon cocoa powder for taste (OPTIONAL)

- Whey protein shake ( IF YOU ARE USING)

 

 

 

 

MEAL TWO (LUNCH)

 

- Fresh cheese (Paneer) cooked with very little olive oil, onion & tomato.

- A bowl of rice/Quinoa with soybeans

- Green salad

- Boiled or steamed Broccoli (IF AVAILABLE)

- Boiled potatoes (2 to 3)

- A cup of Beans (WHICH EVER IS AVAILABLE)

 

 

 

 

MEAL THREE (PRE-WORKOUT)

 

- Peanut butter with brown bread

- Banana (AS MUCH AS YOU COMFORTABLY CAN)

- whey Protein shake (IF YOU HAVE)

 

 

 

 

MEAL FOUR (POST-WORKOUT)

 

- Whey Protein shake (IF YOU ARE USING)

                               OR

- Home made protein shake (RECIPE IN MEAL ONE)

- Peanuts

- Dry fruits

- Half cup of Seeds ( FLAXSEEDS / WALNUTS OR ANY OTHER)

- Seasoned fruits (ANY) + Bananas

 

 

 

 

MEAL FIVE (DINNER)

 

- Grilled potatoes & veggies

- A cup of mixed fruit salad

- A cup or half of yogurt

- Boiled Sprouts

 

 

 

 

MEAL SIX (BEFORE BED)

 

- A glass of milk

          OR

- A glass of juice (FRESH JUICE)
